Christian. Mother. Writer.

These are the three words I would choose to describe myself.

It begins with my relationship with Jesus. He is the primary driving force in my life and the reason behind everything I do today. But, that’s not always the way it was. Like everyone else, I’m a journey and I haven’t arrived yet.  My journey started when I was 14 and I announced, full of confidence, that I would one day make a living as a writer. It was a dream I fulfilled just over 10 years ago when I became a full-time freelance and ghostwriter.

 

Today, my four children are following their own life journey to discover the skills and talents that God has placed in their lives. Among my other passions are animals, reading and physical activity. When I’m not behind the computer, you’ll likely find me walking the dog, biking or reading. I’m not the classic picture of a writer, computer at one hand and a steaming cup of coffee in the other. In fact, I can only manage to drink dessert coffee, which isn’t very good for you!

 

Before writing, I was a nurse and nurse practitioner. I think helping others has always been a part of who I am, and continues to be a part of who I aspire to be.
